PRACTICAL CREATIVE GUIDE

Give your photo a clear motion direction

· Updated

Turn a still image into an AI video with a clear subject and one precise movement. Prepare your photo, write a focused prompt and check the generated result.

Purpose and limitations

Image to Video starts from a reference image, not a 3D reconstruction. Identity, fine lettering, and hidden surfaces may change. Check the actual model options before choosing duration, frame format, or audio.

01

Choose a frame with room to move

Look for a clear subject and space around its edges. Crop intentionally before uploading, rather than asking the camera to reveal missing details.

02

Write the change, not the whole picture

Try “A light breeze moves the petals; the camera slowly pushes in.” Separate subject motion from camera motion and keep both easy to understand.

03

Review one choice at a time

Compare framing first, then motion, then fine details. Refine one instruction at a time to understand what changes the result.

English prompt example

This is an English example for a flower reference photo, not a verified generation result. Replace the subject and action to match your image. Start with one subject movement and one camera movement.

A light breeze gently moves the petals. The camera slowly pushes in toward the flower. Preserve the original composition and soft daylight. One continuous shot, subtle motion.

Input and result checklist

  • Use one clear subject with space around its edges.
  • Choose a model that accepts your file type; uploads are limited to 10 MB.
  • Check the model’s supported duration and ratio; some image models follow the source image ratio.
  • Review the displayed credit cost and audio label before submitting.
  • Inspect the first and last frame, face or lettering, and unintended background changes.

Common issues and adjustments

The scene changes too much

Remove requests for new objects or a new setting. Keep the original composition and ask for one small movement.

The camera reveals invented detail

Use a smaller camera move or a locked shot. A single photo does not show the surfaces behind the subject.

The motion is hard to notice

Name an observable action, such as petals moving in a breeze, instead of only writing “cinematic” or “beautiful”.
