Scope and contact

This policy applies to the Kadenly AI video service at kadenly.com. Contact the service operator about privacy or personal data at support@kadenly.com. It complements our Terms of Service and Content Policy.

Information we process

  • Accounts: your email, name, profile details, authentication records and account preferences. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the identity and profile information needed for login; we do not receive your Google password.
  • Creative work: prompts, uploaded images or other media, generated videos, model and generation settings, task status, error information and credit usage. Upload only material you are entitled to use, including permission from identifiable people where required. Avoid confidential documents, identity documents and sensitive personal information.
  • Transactions: plan, order and subscription identifiers, amount, currency, payment status and credit ledger. Stripe processes card information; Kadenly does not store full card numbers or card security codes.
  • Technical and support data: browser/device information, IP-related connection information, activity and security logs, and information you provide in support messages. Required account and generation information is necessary to provide those features; optional profile information is not.

Why we use information

We use information to authenticate users, perform requested generations, deliver and store results, manage subscriptions and credits, provide support, diagnose failures, improve the service, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. Uploading content does not by itself authorize us to publish it in a public showcase or use it in advertising.

Service providers and AI processing

Operating the service involves providers including Cloudflare for hosting and storage; our database infrastructure; Kie and the selected AI model services for generation; Stripe for payments; Resend for sending and receiving service email; and Google for sign-in and analytics. They receive information needed for their role. Payment, Google sign-in and provider websites also have their own privacy terms.

AI generation requires transmitting your prompt, settings and relevant media to external providers. Their processing, retention and model policies can differ by provider and model. This policy does not promise that every external model provider offers zero retention or excludes all processing for model improvement. Do not submit sensitive material on that assumption. Contact us before using the service for a workflow requiring special confidentiality or data residency.

Providers may process information outside your country. We do not promise that all information remains in Hong Kong or in any one region. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements continue to apply.

Media links and visibility

Your account library is accessed through authentication, but media delivery and generation can use publicly reachable asset URLs. Anyone who obtains such a URL may be able to view or download the file. A hidden library item is not proof that its file or copies at an external provider have been deleted. Do not treat asset URLs as secure storage for confidential material. You control what you download or share, and copies made by others may be outside our control.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies or similar browser storage for sessions, security, language and preferences. Google Analytics is configured to measure visits and interactions and can process cookies, device/browser details and connection information. It does not need your raw prompts or uploaded media for ordinary traffic measurement. Browser privacy controls and tracking blockers can limit analytics; blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in. Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Where applicable, you retain rights to object to or withdraw consent to optional processing by contacting us.

Retention and security

We keep account and creative records as needed to provide the service, and payment, security and dispute records as required for accounting, legal obligations and resolving misuse or claims. Retention depends on the record and purpose; we do not promise automatic deletion of all files after a fixed number of days. Backups, legal holds and external provider copies may need separate handling. You should keep your own copies of important results.

We use HTTPS and access controls to protect the service, but no system or public media link guarantees complete confidentiality. Report suspected unauthorized access to our support email promptly.

Your requests

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, a copy, deletion, restriction or objection to processing. Email us from your registered address, specify the request and relevant task/account identifiers, and do not send passwords or card details. We may verify identity using proportionate information. Requests that are not supported by an account setting are handled through support. We will explain relevant legal retention requirements or technical limitations rather than treating removal from the library as complete erasure.

Kadenly is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If a child has supplied personal information, a parent or guardian may contact us to request investigation and removal as applicable.

Disclosure and updates

We may disclose relevant information when required by law or to address a credible security, safety or legal claim, using information appropriate to the request. If the business is transferred, personal information may transfer with it, subject to applicable law and notice. Material policy changes will be indicated by the updated date and, where appropriate, an in-service or email notice. Changes do not remove your mandatory legal rights.
